We have created Solar PV Installation Kits which have been standardised to allow us to install them on a wide variety of properties. The Solar Arrays consists of sixteen (16) or more 240W PV Modules mounted on a Ground Mounted Frame to create a total array power of 3840Wp or greater. Power from this array passes to your main household (or business) consumer unit (fuse box) where we make connection to the National Grid via a dedicated 3.6kW Grid-Tie Inverter.

By standardising our installation materials, we have been able to keep our installation costs to a minimum. Our unique galvanized steel frame must be mounted on level ground, within 100m of the main fuse box for the property and should be south facing, with no shading from trees other buildings if possible. If you think your site is suitable, we will agree a location for your array and give you a timescale for your installation to take place. We will install the cable required to run power from the Solar Array to your main fuse box. Once your PV Array is installed, we will then commission the rest of the system, making connection to the national grid via your existing metered supply.

The total system cost, fully installed, is only £13,500 + VAT (@5%  domestic properties) (17.5% for industrial installations). A deposit of 80% of the total system cost will be required to secure your system, which will be payable prior to your installation being carried out.

Additional cost for the installation of the frame and cabling may be applied if your site is less than ideal for this type of installation. We will let you know what your total installed price is once we've properly surveyed your site, at no cost to you.

We will install a FIT (Total Generation) Electric Meter to your system, allowing you to be paid the appropriate FIT rate from all power produced from your Solar PV Array, and can arrange for an Import/Export meter to be fitted to your property (depending on your electricity supplier) to allow you to further claim export payments for any power you produce but don't use yourself. (paid at 3p/kW)

Currently, a 3.6kW array will receive 41.3p FIT rate for every 1kWh of power your Array produces, which has now been formally published by the Government, and is payable from 1st April 2010.  Furthermore, it is expected that 3p per 1kWh of Exported Power will be paid for 50% of unused power produced from your system.

For each kWh of power you produce from your Array, and use yourself, you will have a further saving through not having to purchase this power from your current Electricity Supplier, contributing even further to the Return on Investment of your Solar PV installation. We have calculated that, at current electricity rates, a 3.6kW Solar Installation will repay itself in around 8 to 10 years, giving a further 15 to 17 years of Tax Free FIT Income for the remainder of the FIT scheme payments. This represents a massive leap forward in the viability of Solar PV Electricity for the UK and finally makes this technology "stack up".

In England, we expect your Array to produce 2,880kWh of power per year, while in Scotland this will be slightly lower at around 2,700kWh. In FITs payments alone, this represents annual payments of £1,190 and £1,115 respectively.

Apply Now if you think you have a suitable site. We will discuss your plans in more detail before you commit to paying for any part of your installation.
